Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Dave Stultz.  I'm a professional musician and web developer, and for the past 22 years I've served our country and the state of Washington in the Air National Guard.  In the guard, I'm the current Superintendent of the Band of the Northwest, also known as the 560th AF Band.  As a musician, I've played professionally for apx. 35 years.  While my main instruments are trombone and euphonium, I also play trumpet and tuba.  Primarily I'm a jazzer, but like any good musician (mercenary) I take most everything that's comes my way!  All kidding aside, I enjoy and regularly play with several groups covering many different styles.  Besides my own groups which are the focus of my "Musical Services" pages, I play with the Spokane Jazz Orchestra, the Coeur d'Alene Symphony, Son Dulce, and the Spokane Piston and Rotary Club (SPARC) to name few.  More ...

As far as Web Development goes...Back in the day (around the turn of the century), I dropped almost everything I was doing and went back to school to study web development.  I chose the 2-year program at Spokane Community College (SCC) and right on schedule 2 years later I graduated, with honors I might add! Well, actually, I still have a 1 credit typing class to go, but hey, my GPA was 3.9!  Regardless, I was building websites and for my entire 2nd year of the program I was teaching HTML to first year students.  But, while I was digging my new skills and gigging as much as ever, the .coms started to fail and there were more web developers than there were websites to be developed! And now, five or so years later let's face it, with all of the drag-and-drop web tools out there, sites like "MySpace", "Friendster", and so on, and so on, and so on... anyone can build a presence on the web.  But, if you're looking to build a new, professional presence on the web, or your current web site out-of-date, not as efficient as it should be and unfriendly to users, or simply not presenting the image you or your company needs, maybe I can help.
